SALINE BROW TATTOO REMOVAL

Saline Tattoo Removal is a method for lightening undesired tattooed brows done by a different artist. This can be done on clients with undesired Ombre Powder, Microblading, Microshading or traditionally tattooed eyebrows.

Saline Tattoo Removal is the process of tattooing saline solution that will lift the pigment from the skin via osmosis. This will form an epithelial crust from the previous tattooed brows and will flake off allowing the brows the fade. It a lengthy process that requires anywhere from 2-8 sessions to lift the color from the skin. The amount of needed sessions depends on the existing tattoo (what pigments were used, how deep they were inserted, artist’s technique, etc).

Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose saline removal over tattoo laser removal?

  • Saline removal minimizes the chance of damaging the hair follicle and skin cells which means saline removal does not remove hair. If you’re looking to get a correction tattoo on top of your brows in the future, saline removal is more ideal. Skin that has been lasered for tattoo removal is less likely to retain new pigment in the future.

  • Saline removal also does not recognize color in pigment. If your eyebrows have multiple colors (pink, grey, etc) it is much more difficult for laser to detect and lighten every single color.

How many sessions do I need?

  • It is difficult to determine the amount of removal sessions each client needs. This will depend on several factors as well as the client’s desired goal.

What factors affect how many sessions I need?

  • Factors that affect how many removal session a client needs are (but not limited to):

    • the service the client received (powder brows, microblading, etc)

    • what pigments the previous artist used

    • how deep the previous artist went

    • how many sessions of tattoo/microblading the client received

    • how long its been since your previous tattoo

post-appointment Aftercare
